Aus trip- stop 1: Gold Coast

ok, its 3am here in melbourne and i'm insomnia'ing.....

so... what better thing to do than to write to myself.  

first of all, i would like to give a shout out to mr ryan ong for 'encouraging' me to get the x-pro1...

it has truly truly been amazing so far....

in fact... i can confidently say its the world's best travel camera.....

here's why....

1. its "nearly" as good as my d700 full frame cam but half the size....

2. it is "nearly" as cool as a leica but half the price... 

3. it is inconspicuous.... 

4. its simply AWESOME...

ps/ i am not getting paid by fujifilm to say all these...

so, see for yourselves... here are the results... u can tell some pics are straight out from the cam... some are edited by LR... all shot in jpeg....

OK.....

So, at last.... i got it.... a reasonably good compact(ish) camera....

LOL....

to be honest... i knew it wasnt gonna beat my full frame d700... but it certainly isnt far off...
